DAMS Organization International is an evangelistic non-profit organisation that started in 1993. The founder Dore Ann Marie Sayon (DAMS) fled Liberia from a civil war and sought refuge in Nzerekore, the Republic of Guinea. During this difficult period, DAMS, with great foresight and compassion for children, endeavour to establish an educational centre to support impoverished, disadvantaged and vulnerable children through a nurturing home based environment to equip them with knowledge, confidence and practical abilities required to overcome daily challenges.
The headquarters of DAMS Organisation International is located in Brisbane Queensland with operational branches and community connections in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Zambia. The organisation is also working towards expanding its humanitarian and community development activities to other regions.

In 2023, the organisation’s Co-founder, Mr Jack W. Sayon, based in Australia, expanded this vision by developing a holistic approach focused on the spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and economic wellbeing of young people. This expanded vision of DAMS Organisation International seeks to support young people who are constrained in their efforts, or facing systemic barriers to be prioritised in their own development and to meaningfully contribute to their communities.

We are committed to providing faith -based programs through unity and collaborative effort to create a society that promotes justice, education, leadership development, vocational training, community engagement, equality, peace and opportunities.
